Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Higher Education (Andhra Pradesh) appearing for the 1st respondent and Sri C. Sudesh Anand, learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent. In this Writ Petition, the petitioners challenge the action of the 2nd respondent in not allowing them to submit proposals for the purpose of fixation of fee for the block period 2016-17 and 2018-19, on the ground that they have failed to submit the proposals within the cut-off date.

Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners are willing to pay the late charges and other charges for consideration of their application for fixation of fee for the above period.

Learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent, on instructions, submits that the 2nd respondent will consider the proposals made by the petitioners, subject to their complying with the formalities prescribed therefor, like payment of stipulated charges, uploading the data, etcetera.

The Writ Petition is therefore, disposed of directing the petitioners to furnish their proposals for fixation of fee for the above block period to the 2nd respondent within ten days from today and also upload whatever data is necessary for the said purpose, along with late fee, processing fee and any other charges which may be demanded by the 2nd respondent for late submission

of the fee proposal for the above block period. Thereafter, the 2nd respondent shall consider the same on merits in accordance with law within six weeks thereafter. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall also stand disposed of.
