Katakam Srinivasa Rao, v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh
THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.SHANKAR NARAYANA Writ Petition Nos.40401 & 40592 of 2016 COMMON ORDER: (Per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) Both Sri P.Girish Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners, and Sri S.Suri Babu, learned Special Standing Counsel for Commercial Taxes, would agree that, instead of keeping the writ petitions pending on the file of this Court, it would suffice if this Court were to permit the respondents to conduct an enquiry, give the petitioners an opportunity of being heard, and thereafter pass a final order in accordance with the Circular of the Commissioner dated 15.09.2015. We consider it appropriate, in such circumstances, to dispose of both the Writ Petitions directing the 4th respondent to put the petitioners on notice, give them an opportunity of being heard and thereafter pass orders, in accordance with law, at the earliest and, in any event, not later than two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Both the Writ Petitions stand disposed of accordingly.
Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
