WRIT PETITION NO. 20386 OF 2017 O R D E R : [ORAL] [Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice Suresh Kumar Kait] This writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution seeking mandamus to declare the action of the Respondent No.4 in not fixing the time frame in considering the case of the petitioner for appointment as in-charge Chief Engineer, as the petitioner is retiring from service on 31/7/2017, vide O.A.No. 1379 of 2017, dated 09/6/2017 as arbitrary, illegal and consequently to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment as In-charge Chief Engineer, within a period of one week, as he is retiring from service on 31/7/2017, without waiting for the report of the Committee of Engineers and to pass such other suitable orders as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

3. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, we see no ground to interfere with the order dated 09/6/2017 passed by the A.P. Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad in O.A.No. 1379 of 2017.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed at the stage of admission. No order as costs.

5. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this writ petition shall stands closed.
