The writ petitioner is a practicing advocate in the Court of the Junior Civil Judge, Pattikonda, Kurnool District. The Government appointed him as Assistant Government Pleader in the same Court, vide G.O. Rt. No.1949, dated 30.12.2006 for a period of three years on a monthly honorarium of Rs.5,000/-. He took charge of the said post on 08.02.2007. He rendered his services from February 2007 to April 2008. When no honorarium was paid, he submitted a representation to the respondents on 26.05.2008 for payment of honorarium for the period from 08.02.2007 to 05.05.2008. When the said amount was not paid, he filed the present Writ Petition.

2. The Writ Petition was filed in the year 2012. Even after lapse of four years, no counter affidavit is filed on behalf of the respondents. In the circumstances, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to verify the records and make necessary payment to the petitioner for the services rendered by him as Assistant Government Pleader in the Court of Junior Civil Judge, Pattikonda, Kurnool District, pursuant to GO Rt No.1949, dated 30.12.2006, within a period of six

(6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already paid. There shall be no order as to costs.

3. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
