THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 12676 OF 2012 O R D E R :

Public notification dated 20.04.2012, whereby the 2nd respondent Manager of Sri Panduranga Vithaleswara Swamy Temples proposed to auction the leasehold rights in respect of the land in an extent of Acs.7.82 cents situated in Survey No. 141 of Kothuru Tadepalli Village, Vijayawada Rural Mandal, is assailed in this Writ Petition.

This Court, by its order dated 26.04.2012, though permitted to get along with the auctions proposed to be conducted, directed that the same should not be confirmed in favour of the highest bidder. It was further directed that subject to the petitioner depositing a sum of Rs.6,000/- per acre, she may not be dispossessed.

Since the challenge is as to the notification proposing to auction the leasehold rights, in view of the interim order dated 26.04.2012, no further orders are required to be passed now. However, it is made clear that this order shall not be construed as conferring any right on the petitioner with respect to the lands, other than the one which is in her possession, if any. With this, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall also stand closed.
