HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.32668 OF 2018 ORDER:
The present writ petition came to be filed seeking to declare the action of the 2nd respondent in not considering the representation dated 02.08.2018, submitted by the petitioner seeking to rectify the mistakes occurred in the revenue records in respect of the land Ac.1.31 cents, situated at Sy.No.354/1 of Peravali Village, Singanamala Mandal, Ananthapuram District, as illegal and arbitrary. The grievance of the petitioner is that he is the owner and possessor of the subject land and the same was recorded in the revenue records. Recently, when the petitioner got verified the revenue records through Mee seva regarding the subject lands, he came to know that the entries in the revenue records in respect of the subject land were deleted. Immediately thereafter, the petitioner submitted the present representation dated 2.8.2018, seeking to rectify the mistakes in the revenue records and restore the same.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in spite of repeated requests, the respondent authorities are not taking any steps to rectify the defects in the revenue records in respect of the subject property.
Learned Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that if the petitioner is otherwise entitled, the 2nd respondent will deal with the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent-Tahsildar to deal with the application of the petitioner dated 2.8.2018 and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of three to four months from the date of receipt of copy of this
order, by giving the reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and all concerned.
With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, WP.M.Ps if any pending shall stand closed.
