This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ or order more particularly, one in the nature of writ of Certiorari to call for the records relating to 1) Crime No.50 of 2016, dated 19.5.2016, of Chapadu Police Station, Y.S.R. District, Kadapa, 2) Crime No.72 of 2016, dated 16.5.2016, of Khajipet Police Station, Y.S.R. District,

3) Crime No.73 of 2016, dated 21.5.2016, of Khajipet Police Station, Y.S.R. District, Kadapa, 4) Crime No.75 of 2016, dated 17.5.2016, of Mannur Police Station, Y.S.R. District, Kadapa,

5) Crime No.142 of 2016, dated 30.6.2016, of Proddatur III Town Police Station, Y.S.R. District, Kadapa, 6) Crime No.74 of 2016, dated 21.5.2016, of Railway Kodur Police Station, Y.S.R. District, Kadapa, 7) Crime No.61 of 2016, dated 29.6.2016, of Obulavaripalli Police Station, Y.S.R. District, Kadapa and 8) Crime No.66 of 2016, dated 30.6.2016, of Sidhout Police Station, Y.S.R. District, Kadapa and quash all the proceedings against the petitioner's husband - S.Reddappa Reddy, who has been in Central Prison, Kadapa since 26.4.2016 in connection with Crime No.70 of 2016 of Tsundupalli Police Station and subsequently, P.T. warrants were issued in Crime No.50 of 2016 of Chapadu Police Station, Crime No.60 of 2016 of Pendlimarri Police Station, Crime Nos.72 and 73 of 2016 of Khajipet Police Station, Crime No.75 of 2016 of Mannur Police Station and Crime No.74 of 2016 of Railway Kodur Police Station, Y.S.R. District, Kadapa i.e., after granting bail on 27.6.2016 in Crime No.70 of 2016 referred above and to

pass such other order as this Court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

The grievance of the petitioner is that her husband was granted bail on 27.6.2016 in Crime No.70 of 2016 of Tsundupalli Police Station, Y.S.R. District, Kadapa. However, he remained in judicial custody on filing P.T. warrants in connection with other crimes; that respondent Nos.2 to 7 are continuously registering false cases against her husband without there being his involvement in the crimes only with an intention to harass him and they are also filing P.T. warrants against him one after another. 4.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that whenever a person is detained in prison in connection with a particular crime and if the fact of pendency of other crimes is known to the officers concerned, it is the bounden duty of the said officers to produce the said person on P.T. warrant and detain him in prison after remand by the competent Court. In the name of investigation and pendency of various crimes, the officers should not drag on the matter with intent to detain him in prison for some more period. Hence, respondent Nos.2 to 7 are hereby directed to produce the husband of the petitioner on P.T. warrant, if any crimes are pending against him, and complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
