HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.17143 of 2015 ORDER:

Petitioner retired from service in the cadre of Chief Executive Officer of District Cooperative Central Bank Limited, Nalgonda, on attaining the age of superannuation on 30th August, 2014. The grievance in this writ petition is that the retirement benefits are not settled to the petitioner even though more than one year is elapsed. With reference to this grievance, petitioner submitted representations on 18.10.2014, 01.12.2014, 03.01.2015 and 06.05.2015. Alleging that said representations are not disposed of and retirement benefits are not settled, this writ petition is filed.

2. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for petitioner as well as learned standing counsel representing the respondent bank agreed for disposal of the writ petition with a direction to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner and to pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of four weeks.

3. Having regard to the submissions made, without expressing any opinion on merits, this writ petition is disposed of directing the competent authority of Nalgonda District Cooperative Central Bank Limited to pass orders on the representations submitted by the petitioner on 18.10.2014, 01.12.2014, 03.01.2015 and 06.05.2015, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If the representations are not properly considered, it is always open to the petitioner to work out his remedies.
