THE HONOURABLE Dr.JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO Crl.P.M.P.No.6908 and 6909 of 2017 in/and CRIMINAL PETITION No.6694 of 2017 ORDER :

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner who is complainant in C.C.No.66 of 2016 on the file of the XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Ranga Reddy District, against the respondents 2 to 11/ A.1 to A.10 for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 354-D IPC and Sections 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, and perused the grounds urged in the quash petition, First Information Report and police final report. Both parties present and stated that they settled the matter amicably outside the Court to purchase peace and vide Crl.P.M.P.Nos.6908 and 6909 of 2017 sought permission to compound the offences and prayed to quash the proceedings and accordingly permission is granted to compound the offences. In the result, the Crl.P.M.P.Nos.6908 and 6909 of 2017 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is also allowed quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.66 of 2016 against the respondents 2 to 11/ A.1 to A.10. The respondents 2 to 11/ A.1 to A.10 persons are acquitted and their bail bonds shall stand cancelled. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
