Common Order:
These Writ Petitions have been filed with the common grievance viz., that respondent Nos.2 to 4 have been levying and collecting power charges and further demanding Cross Subsidy Surcharge thereon from the petitioners Companies on power received by them through short term open access from National Energy Trading and Services Limited. At the hearing, Mrs.M.Indrani, learned Counsel representing Mr.Challa Gunaranjan, learned Counsel for the petitioners, submitted that after filing of these Writ Petitions, the respondents have withdrawn the proceedings levying the impugned charges and that therefore, the cause in these Writ Petitions does not survive for adjudication.
In the light of the above-submission of the learned Counsel for the petitioners, the Writ Petitions are disposed of as infructuous.
As a sequel to disposal of the Writ Petitions,
the Miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any, stand disposed of as infructuous.
