THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 19450 of 2016 ORDER :
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader Home for the State of Telangana. At the request of both the counsel, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission.
2. The present Writ Petition came to be filed seeking issuance of mandamus declaring the inaction of respondent No.4 in investigating into the crime No.266 of 2015 of Central Crime Station, Hyderabad, though it was registered on 28.10.2015, as illegal and arbitrary.
3. The petitioner is the informant in the said FIR, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 406, 471, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. His grievance is that though the FIR was registered on 28.10.2015, there is no progress in the investigation. Learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that investigation is going on in the said crime and police will file a final report after completion of investigation and on receipt of necessary documents.
4. In view of the above and having regard to the nature
of allegations, respondent No.4 is directed to complete investigation in crime No. 268 of 2015 of Central Crime Station, Hyderabad and file a final report in accordance with law, as early as possible.
5. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
