This Criminal Petition is filed seeking to quash the proceedings against the petitioner in Crime No.1524 of 2022 on the file of SHO, PS Vanasthalipuram, Rachakonda for the offences under Sections 498-A, 324, 506 IPC and Section 3(1)(r)(s), 3(i)(1)(a) SCs & STs (POA) Act, 2015. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri S.Sudershan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for 1st respondent. Perused the record.

The 2nd respondent, who is wife of the petitioner filed complaint alleging harassment. Since the complaint is outcome of differences between spouses, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the police to conclude investigation without taking coercive steps against the petitioner and also consider explanation submitted by the petitioner/husband by following the procedure laid down under Section 41-A Cr.P.C and also the guidelines formulated by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar1 scrupulously. The petitioner shall co-operate with the Investigating Officer by furnishing information and documents as sought by him in concluding the investigation. 1 (2014) 8 SCC 273

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed off. Consequently, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
