THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.8462 of 2012 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed seeking a direction calling for the records pertaining to F.I.R. No.143 of 2011 dated 05.11.2011 pending on the file of the Station House Officer, Podili Police Station, Prakasam District.

This Court by order dated 27.03.2012 granted interim stay of arrest of petitioners, but directed the investigation to go on in Crime No.143 of 2011.

Learned Government Pleader for Home (AP) submits that pursuant to the said interim order the investigation was completed and a charge sheet was filed on 31.12.2012 in C.C.No.35 of 2012. In the circumstances, in view of filing of the charge sheet, nothing survives for consideration in the present writ petition and accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. But, in view of the interim order granted by this Court, the respondents shall not arrest the petitioners except on the orders of the competent Court and it is also open to petitioners to challenge the charge sheet, if they are so advised. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
