THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 29385 OF 2017 O R D E R:

Inaction on the part of the 4th respondent Station House Officer, Rural Police Station in registering a crime against Respondents 5 to 7 has been questioned in this Writ Petition. The case of the petitioners is that on 07.08.2017, Respondents 5 to 7 had entered into their land situated at Arepally Village, abused them in filthy language and tried to grab the land by showing false documents. On the same day, the petitioners are stated to have complained to the respondent police, but no action has been taken thereon, is the grievance in this Writ Petition. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

The 4th respondent Station House Officer, Karimnagar Rural Police Station has sent written instructions, based on which, learned Government Pleader for Home (Telangana) submits that on receipt of the petition dated 07.08.2017 from the petitioners through Registered Post, against Respondents 5 to 7, a case in Crime No. 332 of 2017 has been registered for the offences punishable under Sections 447, 427 and 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code on 31.08.2017 and investigation has been taken up.

In the light of the written instructions, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
