HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 32365 of 2018 ORDER:

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking the following relief:

" To declare the action of the 2nd respondent in not considering the representation of the petitioner dated 23.07.2018 and not taking steps in preventing 7th, 8th respondents and their group of people who are trying to illegally erect the statue of Valmiki in the 4th respondent Gram Panchayat site abutting road opposite to Gram Panchayat Office of Chityala Village, Krishnagiri Mandal, Kurnool district, by demolishing one of the existing historical stone pillar, as illegal, arbitrary, violative of Article 19(1)(g) and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to prevent 7th, 8th respondents and their group of people from erecting statue in the aforesaid Gram Panchayat site."

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for the 5th respondent-Gram Panchayat, Sri G.Seshadri would submit that now, that the authorities have now takes steps in preventing the persons from proceeding further with the construction, as it was without permission. 3.

Recording the above statement made by the learned Standing Counsel, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage, directing the authorities not to permit

erection of any statue in the 4th respondent-Gram Panchayat without obtaining appropriate orders from the concerned. It is also made clear that if any permission is granted for erection of a statute, the same should be made in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs. 4.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
