HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO ORDER:

Petitioners retired from service from the AP TRANSCO, AP GENCO and AP EPDCL. They are claiming that benefits of Revised Pay revision should also be extended to retired employees and their pension should be revised, whereas the same is not granted to them.

Learned counsel for petitioners submits that on 18.01.2018 detailed representation was made to the Electricity Companies, but so far no reply is given to them. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the competent authority to pass orders on the representation within fixed time frame. Having regard to said submission, without expressing any opinion on merits, the AP TRANSCO, AP GENCO and APEDCL are directed to examine the claim of petitioners as ventilated in their representation dated 18.01.2018 and to take a decision as warranted by law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
