The grievance of the petitioners herein was that the police authorities were interfering with their agricultural lands at Surangal Village, Moinabad Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, and calling them to the police station unnecessarily. Basing on the written instructions dated 13.08.2011 received from the Inspector of Police, Moinabad Police Station, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home stated that no complaint had been received or registered against the petitioners on the file of the Moinabad Police Station and therefore, the question of summoning them to the police station did not arise. He further stated that the

dispute of the petitioners with other third parties was purely civil in nature and therefore, the police have nothing to do with it. He pointed out that the Inspector of Police categorically stated that the police had never interfered with the possession and enjoyment of the petitioners over their lands. The stand of the police authorities is duly taken on record. In the light thereof, no cause survives for adjudication in this writ petition, which is accordingly dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
