THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 3897 of 2015 ORDER:

The precise grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that the 2nd respondent by order dated 19.01.2015 cancelled his Caste Certificate, against which he preferred an appeal before the 1st respondent-State on 06.02.2015, along with an application to stay the cancellation order; but the 1st respondent has not taken any action on his appeal or the stay application.

2. The petitioner's counsel submits that the 1st respondent neither disposed of the appeal nor the stay application, and due to cancellation of the caste certificate, the petitioner's employment is liable to be terminated.

3. In view of the submission made, I am of the view that interest of justice would be served if the 1st respondent is directed to dispose of the stay application, or preferably the appeal itself, within four weeks, at any rate, before the end of March, 2015.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
