THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.3835 OF 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the official respondents in not registering the crime against the unofficial respondents for their illegal acts as per the complaint dated 06.10.2016, 22.10.2016, 28.01.2017 and 30.01.2017.

The learned Government Pleader, on the basis of written instructions, submits that crime No.127 of 2017 was registered on 04.02.2017.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the police are not providing necessary protection in discharge of petitioner's duties though the crime was registered. The learned counsel for the unofficial respondents submits that the unofficial respondents are devotees and they are entering the mosque five times a day and they cannot be prevented by the petitioner when they are offering prayers. If the unofficial respondents are entering the mosque to offer prayers, the petitioner cannot stop them. But if any offence takes place, it is open to the petitioner to lodge a complaint with the police and the police shall take necessary action in accordance with law. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. __________________________ A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO, J 19.04.2017 pln
