The case of the petitioner is that her husband owned an extent of Ac.36-85 cents of land in Sy.Nos 524, 516/6, 515/1 of Mopadu Village, Prakasam District. After death of her husband, the petitioner made representation to the District Collector on 24-08-2015 for mutation of her name and grant of pattadar passbook in her favour in respect of subject land. The 2nd respondent in turn by proceedings dated 21-09-2015 directed the 3rd respondentTahsildar to take necessary action. As no action has been taken, the petitioner made representations on 12-10-2015, 14-10-2015 and 15-12-2015 and got issued legal notice dated 31-01-2016 to the 3rd respondent. As no action has been taken, the present writ petition is filed. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.
In view of the above facts and circumstances of the case, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioner in accordance with law and take action after issuing notice to the petitioner and after giving opportunity of hearing to her. The said exercise shall be done within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
