Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Prohibition and excise for respondents. 2.
An order of suspension of A.4 licence passed by the Prohibition and Excise Superintendent, Chittoor vide Rc.No.269/2018/A1, dated 01.09.2018, is under challenge in the present Writ Petition.

Followed by a show cause notice and submission of explanation by the petitioner herein, the impugned Order came to be passed by the Prohibition and Excise Superintendent/R.4 herein in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 31(1)(b) of the A.P.Excise Act, 1968.

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that final Orders will be passed within a period of four weeks by concluding the enquiry. 5.
Having regard to the nature of the allegations and taking into consideration the submissions of the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition, with a direction to the Prohibition and Excise Superintendent, Chittoor/R.4 herein to complete the enquiry and to pass final Orders, within a period of four weeks from today. It is also made clear that if no Orders are passed within the said period, the petitioner herein shall be permitted to carry on his business.
Miscellaneous Petitions pending consideration, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
