THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.21880 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India is filed seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to register a crime and investigate into the same basing on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 19.05.2016.

Heard and perused the material available on record. The main grievance of the petitioner is that the Station House Officer, Anandapuram Police Station, Anandapuram, Visakhapatnam District, 3rd respondent herein is not registering a crime basing on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 19.05.2016. Considering the grievance of the petitioner, the 3rd respondent is directed to register a case basing on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 19.05.2016 if the said complaint discloses any cognizable offence and investigate into the same and file a final report, if any, in accordance with law. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the action of the 3rd respondent, he is at liberty to approach the superior officer of 3rd respondent and also to approach the concerned Court by invoking provision under Section 200 Cr.P.C.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed. _________________ RAJA ELANGO,J 02.01.2017.
