HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO ORDER:

Petitioner is working as Assistant Grade-I and aspiring promotion as Assistant Manager (General). According to petitioner, tentative provisional seniority list was drawn on 23.11.2017, wherein erroneously his junior was shown above him. On 14.12.2017, petitioner filed detailed objections. So far the objections are not considered and no decision is made and seniority list is not finalized. On the contrary, promotions are being effected based on entries made in the provisional seniority list. According to learned counsel for petitioner, if it continues, grave prejudice would be caused to petitioner as illegally his junior is shown as senior in the provisional seniority list.

Copy of representation is enclosed as Exhibit P4. There is no acknowledgment of receipt of said explanation. 3.

If representation filed by petitioner dated 14.12.2017 is received by the 1st respondent and seniority list is not finalized so far, 1st respondent is directed to examine the contentions urged by petitioner against entries in the provisional seniority list of Assistant Grade-I and finalize the seniority list as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt copy of this order. It is needless to observe wherever it is necessary the affected parties also be heard of their objections and finalize the seniority list. Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
