THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.1773 of 2014 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners-accused under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings against them in FIR No.23 of 2014 on the file of Inthezargunj Police Station, Warangal District.

On 22.02.2016, when the matter was taken up for hearing, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners and hence, the matter was directed to be posted under the caption 'for dismissal' on 23.02.2016. Even today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. Admittedly, the case pertains to the year 2014. On 24.02.2014, this Court granted stay of all further proceedings in the above crime for a period of eight weeks only. Thereafter, the stay was not extended. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought for by the petitioners at this length of time. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed. ______________ RAJA ELANGO, J February 23, 2016.
