Respondent is the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), a Government of India Enterprise.

The petitioner in this Writ Petition claims that she is entitled to all terminal benefits accrued to the account of late Chilakabathini Praveen Kumar, who was employee of BSNL. This is a service grievance. The jurisdiction to adjudicate the service grievances of BSNL vests in Central Administrative Tribunal constituted under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 (for short, 'the Act'). The Central Administrative Tribunal is the Court of first instance to adjudicate all service grievances. The petitioner has an effective and efficacious remedy under the Act. Without availing the said remedy, the petitioner filed this Writ Petition.

Since the petitioner has an effective and efficacious remedy under the Act, this Court is not inclined to entertain the Writ Petition.

The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner to avail the remedy available to her under the Act. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
