THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.35943 OF 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition, under Article 226 of Constitution of India, is filed seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.475 of 2016 of Machavaram Police Station, Vijayawada City, Krishna District. 2.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

Grievance of the petitioner is that basing on the complaint lodged by respondent No.4, respondent No.3 registered the aforementioned crime for the offences under Sections 420, 468 and 471 I.P.C; that the complaint does not contain any incriminating material; that she never did any criminal activities and and hence, prays to quash the proceedings in the said crime. 4.

Considering the grievance of the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, respondent No.3 is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.475 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible and file a final report, if any, in either way in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) months from today. 5.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
