The present writ petition came to be filed for the following relief:
" To declare the action of the 3rd respondent in not disposing the appeal filed against the order of the 4th respondent in his proceeding Rc. 363/ 2016 dated 31.12.2016, as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the 3rd respondent not to dispossess the petitioner from the land in Survey Nos. 691, 693, 694, 695/ 1 and 696/ 2 of Bilakalagudur village, Gadivemula Mandal, Kurnool district."

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the appeal was filed by the petitioner in December, 2016, and numbered in January, 2017, till date, no orders are passed in the appeal.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that a direction may be issued to the appropriate authority to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner within a reasonable time. 4.
Having regard to the representation made, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage, directing the 3rd respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner against the proceedings of the 4th respondent dated 31.12.2016, as early as possible, preferably, within a period of two to three months from
the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If any interim application is filed along with the said appeal, the authorities shall also deal with the same at the earliest. 5.
With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. _________________________ JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR 12.09.2018 DMG
