Mohd. Farooq All Hashmi v. The Govt. Of A.P.
HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.3057 of 2014 ORDER:
There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. Heard the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. During the course of hearing, learned Government Pleader brought to the notice of this Court that the rowdy sheet opened against the 1st petitioner was closed on 31.12.2017. As far as petitioner Nos.2 to 5 are concerned, no rowdy sheet is pending against them. He also brought to the notice of this Court that in Crime No.78 of 2013 all the petitioners are the accused and the investigation was completed and a final report was filed. After taking cognizance of the offence the same is numbered as S.C.No.521 of 2014 and the same is pending trial. Learned Government Pleader specifically submitted that except in connection with Crime No.78 of 2013, the petitioners are not summoned to the police station and they have never harassed by the respondent police at any point of time.
In view of the above said facts, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition and the same is liable to be dismissed.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. _____________________ P. KESHAVA RAO, J Date: 25.10.2019.
