UMA DEVI Writ Petition No.27285 of 2017 Order: (Per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) After arguing for some time, Mrs. B. Rachna Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, would submit that the petitioner would make an application in terms of the Circular Memo No. 9940/SPF&MC/2015 dated 7.8.2017 on or before 7.9.2017, and it would suffice if the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's application, for mutual transfer, in terms of the said Circular Memo. While contending that the petitioner has deserted his service, and has been absconding from 8.8.2017, learned Government Pleader for Services-I would submit that, in case the petitioner is eligible in terms of the Circular Memo dated 7.8.2017, his case would be considered in accordance therewith.

In the light of the submission of the learned Government Pleader, suffice it to direct the respondents, in case the petitioner submits an application for mutual transfer on or before 7.9.2017, to consider his request in accordance with law and in terms of the Circular Memo dated 7.8.2017.

The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
