HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 32774 of 2018 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. 2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent No.2 in not disposing of the representation dated 19.05.2018 and application through Mee-Seva vide APDLO11700016216, dated 09.02.2017, made by the petitioner for deletion of Survey number with regard to her land admeasuring Ac.0.25 cents in Survey No.167/A2 of Valmikipuram village and mandal, Chittoor district, for updation in the Re-Settlement Register, as per the Andhra Pradesh Dotted lands (Updation in Re-settlement Register) Act 10 of 2017 (for short, 'the Act'), as illegal and arbitrary.

3) At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is stated that the application filed under Section 7 of the Act before the District Level Committee is pending consideration and seeks a direction for disposal of the same.

4) Learned Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that if the said application is still pending consideration, the authorities would dispose of the same, in accordance with law, at the earliest.

5) Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2 to dispose of the application filed under Section 7 of the Act, in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
