HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY Writ Petition No. 5809 of 2011 ORDER :

This writ petition is filed challenging the proceedings bearing No.2704/SEC-F2/2006-1(34), dated 19.11.2010, whereby the 2nd respondent declared the petitioner as ineligible to contest elections for a period of three years in pursuant to Section 20-B of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955 and also the powers conferred under Article 243-V of Constitution of India. This Court, by order dated 09.03.2011 in W.P.M.P.No.7227 of 2011 has granted interim suspension of the impugned proceedings dated 19.11.2010.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Since the period of three years has expired by 18.11.2013 from the date of impugned order dated 19.11.2013 being passed by the 2nd respondent and the interim order passed by this Court on 09.03.2011 had already worked out, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication, as such, the same has become infructuous. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous applications, if any pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand dismissed. _________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY, J 15.09.2015.
