ORDER

This contempt case is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 18.03.2008 passed by this Court in W.P.No.32522 of 1997, wherein this Court directed the respondents to reinstate the petitioners into service with continuity of service, but without any back wages and attendant benefits.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader for respondents submits that the respondents have complied with the orders of this Court in W.P.No.32522 of 1997 dated 18.03.2008 by issuing appropriate proceedings No.SE/DMC/AB/AC-2/107 Gd, dated 04.10.2017 and as such, nothing survives for adjudication in the contempt case. 3.

Inasmuch as the respondents, in compliance of the orders dated 18.03.2008 passed by this Court in W.P.No.32522 of 1997, have considered the case of petitioners and issued appropriate proceedings, I see no contempt much less willful contempt of the order of this Court.

In the circumstances, the Contempt Case is closed. No costs.
