HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.39697 of 2016 ORDER:

The present writ petition is filed by the petitioners seeking to declare the action of the respondents 2 to 4 in not considering the complaint dated 14.11.2016 and not providing police protection to implement the order, dated 29.08.2016, passed in I.A .No.186 of 2016 in SOP No.239 of 2016, by the III Additional District Judge, RR District at L.B. Nagar, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard and perused the material available on record. The grievance of the petitioners is that the 2nd petitioner made an application on 14.11.2016 before the 3rd respondent to provide police protection to attend Special General Meeting of the Hyderabad Cricket Association to be held on 20.11.2016 at 11.00 am, at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal Hyderabad, on the apprehension that he may not be permitted to attend the meeting. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the 2nd petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to pass the following order: The respondents 2 to 4 are directed to consider the representation, dated 14.11.2016, submitted by the 2nd petitioner and take appropriate decision in accordance with law on or before 19.11.2016. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. ______________ RAJA ELANGO, J November 17, 2016.
