This writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to conduct investigation and file a final report in FIR No.177 of 2016 on the file of Narasapuram Town Police Station, West Godavari District. 2.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

It is the grievance of the petitioner that she lodged a complaint on 15.10.2016 before the 3rd respondent for the offence under Sections 498-A, 313 r/w 34 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act against respondents Nos.4 to 6. But the 3rd respondent has not conducted any investigation so far.

Considering the circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to pass the following order: "The 3rd respondent is directed to conduct investigation and file a final report, if any, in accordance with law, in FIR No.177 of 2016, as expeditiously as possible."
