Subrahmanyam, learned counsel for the petitioner, and the learned Government Pleader for Transport (A.P.), would agree that the subject matter of this writ petition is covered by the judgment in W.P. No. 173 of 2010 and batch dated 28.9.2011.
Pursuant to the interim order passed by this Court earlier, directing the petitioner to pay 50% of the life tax, the petitioner claims to have paid the said amount. In case, the petitioner has not paid the life tax in its entirety, it is open to the respondents to recover the same from the petitioner in accordance with law. Following the judgment in W.P. No.173 of 2010 and batch dated 28.9.2011, and in terms thereof, this writ petition is dismissed. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed.
