O R D E R

The case of the petitioner, as per the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, is that pursuant to notification dated 31.12.2015 issued by the 1st respondent - State Level Police Recruitment Board, represented by its Chairman, for the posts of Police constables, he applied and qualified in preliminary exam and in physical measurement test and his certificates were also verified on 10.3.2017. While so, the 1st respondent issued show cause notice dated 5.5.2017 stating that during verification of his antecedents, it was found that he was over-aged. To the said shows cause notice, petitioner submitted his explanation on 15.5.2017. The case of the petitioner is that he is not over aged and that the candidates selected along with him were sent for training, but he has been denied the opportunity. Hence the writ petition.

Heard the leaned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Since the explanation of the petitioner dated 15.5.2017 pursuant to the show cause notice dated 5.5.2017, is pending consideration, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider the explanation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. No order as to costs.
