2016-12-15A Ramalingeswara Rao2 pages

HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.43655 of 2016 ORDER:

The petitioner states that he was appointed as Panchayat Secretary in 2002 in Nalgonda District. At present, he is working as such in Kurmedu Gram Panchayat and he was given in-charge of Teededu Gram Panchayat, Chinthapally Mandal, Nalgonda District. When respondent No.3-District Collector, Nalgonda issued proceedings on 28.11.2016 placing the petitioner under suspension, the present writ petition was filed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegations mentioned in the impugned order of suspension have no basis and the petitioner has followed the rules in drawing the amounts. At this stage, this Court cannot go into the merits of the said case, since it relates to financial irregularities. This Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned order of suspension. As the allegations can be verified from the records, respondent No.3 is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to observe that the petitioner shall cooperate with the conclusion of the enquiry.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
