THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.8264 OF 2016 O R D E R :

Heard counsel for the petitioner and the Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents.

Petitioner's grievance is that he had applied for issuance of Occupancy Right Certificate under the provisions of A.P. (Telangana Area) Abolition of Inams Act, 1955 (for short 'the Act') before the 2nd respondent on 17.08.2015 for the land in survey No.247 of an extent of Ac.0-06 guntas of Boduppal Village, Ghatkesar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District; that the 2nd respondent had forwarded the same on 16.09.2015 to the 3rd respondent to conduct enquiry and send a detailed preliminary enquiry report; but the 3rd respondent is not taking any action in this regard.

The Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents states that the 3rd respondent will conduct a detailed enquiry and submit a preliminary report to the 2nd respondent within two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the said report, the 2nd respondent will take further action in the matter within four (04) weeks thereafter.

In view of the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to conduct a detailed enquiry for issuance of Occupancy Right Certificate under the provisions of the Act, for the land in survey No.247 of an extent of Ac.0-06 guntas of Boduppal Village, Ghatkesar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District and submit a preliminary report to the 2nd respondent within two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the said report,

the 2nd respondent shall take further action in the matter within four

(04) weeks thereafter. There shall be no order as to costs.

5. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
