HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT APPEAL No. 184 OF 2016 PC: (per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Sri Satyanarayana, learned counsel for the appellant prays for withdrawal of this writ appeal and also prays for observation that if the appellant makes a fresh application for grant of licence for manufacturing, repairing and dealing with weighing instructions for the current year, the same may be considered in the light of the fact that the family of the appellant has been in the business since 1976. Writ appeal is disposed of as withdrawn. The concerned authority shall consider and decide the appellant's application on merits, in accordance with law and keeping in view that his family was in the business and was holding licence since 1976.

It is needless to mention that the concerned authority shall deal with the appellant's application as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of its presentation.
