Sri Kachava Jetharam v. The Government Of Telengana
HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.19776 of 2014 ORDER:
There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: "... to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents in conducting any enquiry in FIR No.223 of 2014 dated 08.03.2014 on the file of Kukatpally Housing Board Police Station to trace out the daughter of the petitioner for the last 4 months and taking action against the respondent No.6 as arbitrary and illegal and also violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 5 to conduct the enquiry in FIR No.223 of 2014 dated 08.03.2014 and take action against the respondent No.6."
Learned Government Pleader appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 5 brought to the notice of this Court that pursuant to the registration of FIR No.223 of 2014 dated 08.03.2014, the daughter of the petitioner was traced on 12.05.2016 and on the same day, a final report was filed before the concerned Court referring it as "action dropped".
In that view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. _____________________ P. KESHAVA RAO, J Date: 13.12.2019.
