According to petitioner, though she was selected by direct recruitment as Assistant Executive Engineer, on the ground that she secured the Degree in Engineering by correspondence mode, she was not granted employment. Aggrieved thereby, she filed O.A.No.5877 of 2013 before the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal.
3.
In view of interim orders granted by the Administrative Tribunal, she was appointed and she has been working. The present grievance of petitioner is that her services were not regularized.
3.
According to learned counsel for petitioner, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University preferred appeal before the Supreme Court vide Civil Appeal No.3697-3698 of 2018 regarding qualification issue. Supreme Court, by the judgment dated 10.04.2018, held that the Degrees granted by the University to the candidates admitted up to academic year 2009-2010 may not be disturbed. According to learned counsel, in view of the said judgment, services of petitioner ought to have been regularized. 4.
However, petitioner has not submitted representation to the employer requesting him to take note of the directions issued by the Supreme Court and to grant service benefits as claimed by her
in the present writ petition, and directly invoked the jurisdiction of this Court.
5.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave of the Court to submit representation to respondents 1 and 2. That being so, Writ Petition is disposed of, granting liberty to the petitioner to make a representation ventilating her grievance. It is needless to observe that as and when such representation is made, the competent authority shall consider the same in the light of judgment rendered by the Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.3697-3698 of 2018 and communicate the decision to the petitioner within two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs ____________________ P. NAVEEN RAO, J Date:18.09.2018 KH
