The Court made the following: [order follows] WRIT PETITION NO. 24402 OF 2016 O R D E R :

Vide the present petition, the petitioner seeks direction thereby directing respondents 3 and 4 to decide his application dated 28/12/2015 for armed licence made to respondent No.4 and application dated 13/5/2016 for the same purpose to the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad. However, till date the said applications has not been decided.

2. Keeping in view the averments made in the said writ petition and submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, respondents 3 and 4 are directed to take decision on the aforesaid applications filed by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from today.

3. In view of the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.

4. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
