It is the case of the petitioners that have filed representation dated 01.09.2016 for taking action against impugned letter dated 25.01.2016 addressed by the 4th respondent-Special Deputy Collector (Land Acquisition) to the 2nd respondent in respect of lands of the petitioners. As no action is being taken on the representation of the petitioners dated 01.09.2016, the present writ petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Land Acquisition. Since the representation of the petitioners dated 01.09.2016 is pending with the 2nd respondent-District Collector, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioners with reference to letter addressed by the 4th respondent dated 25.01.2016, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
