THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.32864 of 2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Excise.

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that the petitioner herein submitted an application for compounding the offence, as alleged in the impugned proceedings, and, within a period of one week, appropriate orders will be passed by the Commissioner, Prohibition & Excise Department-second respondent herein on the said application. The said statement is placed on record. In view of the above, Writ Petition is disposed of. It is made clear that, if no orders are passed, within the time mentioned supra, petitioner herein shall be allowed to carry on the business. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
