W.P.No.23894/2016 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice V. Ramasubramanian) Aggrieved by the refusal of the university to grant affiliation to various courses, the petitioners came up with the above writ petition challenging among other things the Affiliation Procedure and Regulations, 2015 of the university.

At the time when the writ petition came up for orders as to admission, we passed an interim order on 12.09.2016 with respect to the affiliation for M.Pharmacy-Pharmaceutics. Pursuant to the said order, the petitioners have granted affiliation for a reduced intake for M.Pharmacy Pharmaceutics.

Insofar as the other courses are concerned there was no interim order and the admission process for the current academic year is already over. Therefore, nothing survives in the writ petition. Hence it is closed, with a direction to the university to regularize the affiliation granted to the petitioners for a reduced intake for M.Pharmacy Pharmaceutics. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
