Petitioner claims that his father was appointed as NMR in the respondent - Municipality and completed five years of service as on 25.11.1993 and was eligible for regularization of his services in accordance with the Andhra Pradesh (Regulation of Appointments to Public Services and Rationalization of Staff Pattern and Pay Structure) Act, 1994. Before he was granted regularization and while he was working, he died on 05.09.2015. By placing reliance on the Government Orders in G.O.Ms.No.118, dated 18.08.1999, a representation dated 16.11.2015 was made by the petitioner addressed to the Commissioner, Miryalaguda Municipality, Miryalaguda. Alleging inaction on the said representation, this Writ Petition is filed.

Since the petitioner has already submitted representation dated 16.11.2015 and the same is stated to be pending with the respondent - Municipality, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration, the 2nd respondent, to consider the claim of the petitioner as ventilated in his representation dated 16.11.2015 and take appropriate decision in accordance with law and communicate the said decision to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
