THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.7239 OF 2017 ORDER:

The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is to declare the inaction of the respondent, in disposing of the revision petition filed by the first petitioner in Memo No.47701/E-I(1)/2009-1, as being illegal and arbitrary.

While the revision petition is said to be pending for several years, it is wholly unnecessary for this Court to delve further on this aspect as the Learned Government Pleader for Endowments would submit that the respondent shall, after affording an opportunity of being heard to all the parties in the revision, pass orders as early as possible.

I consider it appropriate, therefore, to dispose of the Writ Petition directing the respondent, after giving the petitioner and other interested parties an opportunity of being heard, to dispose of the revision petition, in accordance with law, within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. The Miscellaneous Petition, if any, shall stand disposed of. However, in the circumstances, without costs.
