O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner is that the 3rd respondent - Sub Inspector of Police, Bandi Atmakur Police Station, Kurnool District, has not received the complaint lodged by her against the unofficial respondent No.4 and is interfering with the civil dispute and threatened her. Therefore, she made a representation dated 04.07.2018 to the 2nd respondent - Superintendent of Police, Kurnool District, Kurnool. As no action has been taken, present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, writ petition is disposed of directing the police authorities to follow the guidelines laid down by Supreme Court in LALITA KUMARI v. GOVERNMENT OF UTTAR PRADESH1, and take appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation stated to have been made by the petitioner on 04.07.2018 to the 2nd respondent. However, the 3rd respondent, shall not interfere with the civil dispute between the petitioner and the unofficial respondent No.4, except in accordance with law.
