HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO ORDER:
Petitioner earlier worked in State Bank of Hyderabad and he was dismissed from service as a consequence to the disciplinary action taken against him by order dated 18.03.2005. Petitioner claims that he has submitted representation in January, 2015 requesting to grant compassionate pension by explaining his financial constraints. Alleging that so far no decision is taken on his representation, this writ petition is filed.

In the counter-affidavit filed on behalf of the 4th respondent, it is stated that representation submitted by the petitioner was forwarded to the Zonal Office on 20.05.2015 and Committee would examine the case of petitioner and result thereon would be communicated through proper channel. This affidavit was deposed on 24.01.2017 and even by that time also, no decision was made on the application filed by the petitioner in January, 2015. 3.
Since the claim of the petitioner is pending consideration, as prayed by the learned counsel for petitioner, writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondent authorities to take a decision on the claim of petitioner and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law duly assigning reasons in support of the decision and decision should be communicated to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
