HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.14506 OF 2017 ORDER:

The case of the petitioner is that he worked in Indian Air Force from 09.04.1966 and discharged from service on 30.04.1986 i.e., after completion of twenty years of service. As per the policy of the Central Government, petitioner was assigned the land admeasuring Ac.5-00 vide patta bearing No.32/SR/68, dated 31.10.1969 situated at Polatitippa Village, Machilipatnam Mandal, Krishna District under the defence quota. Subsequently, petitioner's name was also incorporated in the revenue records and the same continued till 2016. While so, when petitioner obtained a copy of Adangal, he found the name of the 4th respondent under 'enjoyer' column and got issued a legal notice dated 15.02.2017 to the 2nd respondent, duly marking a copy to the 3rd respondent requesting them to cause enquiry in respect of illegal change of his name in the Adangals.

In pursuant to said legal notice, the 3rd respondent issued a notice dated 28.02.2017 fixing the date of enquiry as 21.03.2017. Accordingly, petitioner attended the enquiry before the 3rd respondent along with necessary documents. But thereafter, no further date was fixed for completion of enquiry. Aggrieved b the same, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

In view of the above facts and circumstances, the 3rd respondent is directed to complete enquiry in pursuant to notice dated 28.02.2017 after issuing notice and after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as 4th respondent, in accordance with law, within a period of four (04) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed. _____________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY, J 21.04.2017 dv
